The exquAIro team is pleased to announce that registration is now open for Class 5 of the Biomedical AI Bootcamp, the intensive training program designed specifically for clinician-scientists, biomedical researchers, and pharmacologists who want to integrate artificial intelligence into their research and clinical innovation.
With growing demand for AI literacy in medicine, this bootcamp offers a unique opportunity to develop advanced, hands-on skills in a focused, high-support environment led by experts from academia, medicine, and industry.
Bootcamp Class 5 – Planning
The fifth edition of the Biomedical AI Bootcamp consists of two full-time, immersive blocks held on-site in Groningen:
Block 1:
Date: October 26 – November 13, 2026
Location: Groningen
Block 2:
Date: January 18 – February 5, 2027
Location: Groningen
Participants will work intensively with AI tools, receive structured coaching, and develop a complete AI-based research proposal tailored to their own data and research questions.
Last-minute opportunity for Class 4
Due to two unexpectedly opened spots in Class 4, interested applicants can also still join the earlier edition of the Bootcamp.
Class 4 will be held as follows:
- Block 1: April 7 – 24, 2026
- Block 2: August 31 – September 18, 2026
Applicants can register for these two final positions using the same registration form as for Class 5.
Who Should Apply?
The Biomedical AI Bootcamp is ideal for:
- Clinician-scientists aiming to apply machine learning, imaging AI, or generative models in clinical research.
- Biomedical researchers seeking to strengthen their data science and translational impact.
- Pharmacologists wanting to bring AI into drug discovery and development pipelines.
There are 12 spots available each class for Biomedical Researchers and Clinician-Scientists of Dutch University Medical Centers.
