The AI training at exquAIro does not end after the Biomedical AI bootcamp. Following the completion of the bootcamp, exquAIro offers a comprehensive post-bootcamp follow-up program designed to broaden the analytical arsenal and help participants translate their knowledge into real-world medical applications. On October 11, the kick-off of the first class of the Advanced Biomedical AI Program was held. The program itself start in December 2025. What does this Advanced Biomedical AI program entail? Let’s dive into the structure, learning goals, components and investment.
Program Structure
The post-bootcamp track builds on the proven exquAIro education model and borrows deepdive trainings by our colleagues at REWIRE, leading to the Advanced Biomedical AI program. Participants engage in a combination of:
- Follow-up blocks: Intensive 2-day training sessions focusing on hands-on implementation and knowledge exchange.
- Online learning: Continuous learning modules to strengthen AI and data skills.
- Personal coaching: Individual guidance on grants, AI use case development, and innovation strategy.
Learning Outcomes
Participants expand their analytical toolkit and gain the ability to integrate AI models into medical care applications. The program borrows heavily from the proven professional educational curriculum of GAIN by REWIRE. Highlights include:
- Operationalizing AI models and creating interactable AI interfaces to engage users.
- Handling complex datasets, including high-dimensional and sparse data.
- Applying advanced techniques such as survival models, time series forecasting, and Bayesian networks.
- Gaining a deeper understanding of the possibilities GenAI offers us, including the building of custom agents.
- Developing AI use case POC’s and proposals for potential funding.
Program Components
The 3-star Advanced Biomedical AI program is structured across multiple sessions spanning late 2025 to early 2027, with a combination of workshops, hands-on training, hackathons, and ongoing support. Participants also benefit from senior mentorship, mini-symposia, and reunion sessions, creating a vibrant community of AI innovators in healthcare.
Empower yourself
By participating in this follow-up program, exquAIro alumni are empowered to implement AI solutions effectively, bridge the gap between research and patient care, and position themselves as leaders in AI-driven medical innovation.
