What is the exquAIro AI & Data Bootcamp?
This innovative and uniquely Dutch AI & Data Bootcamp is a high-level educational program designed to equip researchers with essential AI skills. The bootcamp is developed by exquAIro, a non-profit startup from UMCG, and AI Consultancy market leader Rewire. The first class of 2025 starts on June 2nd in Groningen. If you are unable to attend in June, you can join the second cohort in the fall, starting October 27th. With limited spots available, early registration is highly recommended.
The program builds a conceptual understanding of the tools available to researchers, supports you in applying these to medical data and translate your ideas to grant proposals that can get funding support through the exquAIro foundation. The bootcamp empowers participants to apply cutting-edge AI methodologies to their research. You can find more information below or in our brochure.

Who is the Bootcamp for?
The AI & Data Bootcamp is suited for clinicians with research affinity aiming to use machine learning, image recognition or Gen AI-models in their research domain, biomedical researchers eager to acquire essential data science and impact skills to accelerate their research and pharmacologists with an analytical background who want to expand their expertise into AI applications to enhance drug development.
There are a total of 12 spots available, with 10 spots for biomedical researchers from UMCG and 2 wildcards for researchers from other UMCs. Over a span of two blocks of 3 weeks full time training, you get the unique opportunity to dive deep into the world of data science and AI in health together with top consultants in AI.
